Urban Wed Event Recap

Congratulations to Vané of Brooklyn Bride for an exquisite collection of creative and quality wedding vendors. It was a great evening and if you missed night one, you can still get tickets for night two.

Drinking Champagne from a bottle with a straw is unconventional yet irresistible. Cheers Pop Champagne!

Hatch Creative Studio designed a truly lovely event.

A black and white photo rested on a black napkin at each place setting. So simple yet clever, elegant and personal.

The flowers are positioned in dirt inside a wine glass.

This is one of favorite details of the evening. I see suitcases in the designs of future escort card tables.

This detail, too is brilliant, I love it!

Look at this table runner made out of old black and white photos, so easy to replicate, a perfect DIY detail.

Cobblestone Catering served fabulous finger food.

There was lobster in these pouches. Each appetizer rested on a lime slice.

These breaded shrimp kabobs were delicious.

Notice the presentation of their trays used to pass the hors d'oeuvres.

Samuelle's bridal gowns are so delicate, feminine and intricate. I simply adore the styles and Sam is a joy!

This burst of spring bridesmaid fashion is by 57 Grand.

Face Time Beauty was on hand making brides pretty. I like their website.

Betsy of Nine Cakes had beautiful cakes on display.

Here is the Chocolate Caramel Fleur de Sel- my favorite! They are valrhona dark chocolate cake with layers of caramel buttercream and a sprinkle of fleur de sel. Yum!

We had fun striking a pose with many of paperfinger's props and signs at the the photo booth by Studio Booth.

If you are looking for a modern design and a look like no other, check out Paper+Cup Design. Their aesthetic is original and industrial.

Jen Huang is a brilliant photographer. I love the images she creates, it was so nice to see her again. She's as equally kind and generous as she is talented. Any couple would be lucky to have her behind the camera on their wedding day. And efficient... she had the photos posted, shared and a nice note written and sent to me before I got off the train.

Thank you Jen, I appreciate it!
