Hand Painted Invitations

Today I meet an artist. Kristy Rice of Momental Designs was in the Blogging Boot Camp I attended last year (Remember, you may have mocked it, but turns out it was one of one of my best investments of time and money thus far, thanks to Liene and all the amazing women I met!)

I am so fortunate to be in an area rich in talent! Yesterday it was handmade sugar flowers, today the flowers are painted by hand. (I spy an interesting collaboration, must introduce and Amy+Kristy)

I was at my parents for Christmas and going through a pile of holiday cards, and while 90% of them were photographs of the beautiful children in my life (which I love getting) there was one card that stood out. Kristy's unique hand painted Christmas card was magnificent, the piece of paper you don't part with. Wouldn't you want someone to say that about you wedding invitation? I am so happy she's carved out some time for me this afternoon during her brief visit to New York.

Check out her work here at Muddy Brushes.

Have you seen Alice in Wonderland in 3-D yet? Here is a timely suite designed by Kristy and her team.
