Wedding at The Green Building

 

Thanks to Allison and Steve for inviting me along on their wedding planning journey. It was quite the ride! I am so grateful they trusted me to help them plan and coordinate their day. I'm thrilled they enlisted the expertise of a few of my favorite wedding professionals and loved the new ones they introduced me to, also. Hello Ample Hill! The slate table numbers were designed by Allison's creative mom. And one of the best decisions they made, was renting an Air B&B kitty corner from The Green Building. Having the wedding head quarters, where the bride, her bridal party and family had hair, make-up and got dressed literally steps from the ceremony and reception was this wedding planner's dream.

Weddings at Wheatleigh

This year's Berkshire's Wedding Tour began with a stunning welcome dinner at Wheatleigh. This wedding venue is one of The Berkshire's most elegant and luxury treasures. The evening was a feast for the eyes and our taste buds. 

 The table and flowers were designed by the gentleman of New Leaf Flores.

Butternut Squash Ravioli, Maitake Mushrooms, Spinach and Black Truffle.

Here I am pictured with the lovely Soraya, a fellow wedding planner from my beloved Brooklyn. 

Thanks so much to Tara, Ruthie and Lauren, the amazing tour committee who put so much time, thought and effort into the planning and coordination of the diverse venue tours, comfy accommodations, superb dining and endless logistics. It was seamless from this guest's perspective and truly enjoyed by the attendees. Congratulations ladies on a successful tour. So happy to be included and in such great company. Real Wedding: Liberty Warehouse in Redhook, Brooklyn

M&R are an awesome couple, so smart and articulate and I love how much thought and care they put into all their wedding decisions. Their beautiful vows were complimented by sentiments about marriage and commitment shared by their bridal party, siblings and parents. It was an amazing ceremony created from scratch. The brides beautiful beautiful bouquet was created by Peartree Flowers. Guests enjoyed cocktails outside with a backdrop of The Statue of Liberty and enjoyed the fun and alternative music of Six Deadly Venoms. Afterwards guests dined and danced to tunes provided by  Jon Oliver of Love Junkies NY.

Real Wedding- The Foundry #TBT

We are excited to start Throwback Thursday #tbt blog posts. The goal is two fold. This is will give us an opportunity to showcase some of our wonderful work that never found a home on our blog and also it's an chance to encore some of our most beloved, popular or useful posts from the past.

We are going to start strong with a real wedding from 2011.

"Hi Tammy!  Now that Dave and I are back from our honeymoon and the dust has settled a bit, I wanted to write and thank you for being such an amazing part of our wedding day!  And wedding week, month, etc. really.  :)  We had such a fantastic time on 9/17 and could not have done it without you -- thanks for taking so much off our hands and helping to make the night so wonderful for us.  Our guests all raved about the welcome bags, by the way -- we're still getting compliments on them -- so thanks for that as well!
